We deliver new and innovative intelligence solutions to our customers at the very forefront of our country’s national security missions. And we do it every single day. Our work matters, and so will you.

  • Contribute meaningful thought leadership — if not right away, over time
  • Interact with our customers and earn their confidence in your abilities
  • Be detailed, even if that means taking a little more time to get it right
  • Contribute their ideas and ideals to improve all aspects of our company
  • Allow us to invest in their education so we both grow together
  • Know and live our core values every single day

💡 About this Role

This team will be responsible for aggregating data sources to create a clear picture of what infrastructure was requested, what infrastructure was deployed, and proactively alert on any discrepancies. The team's application will then be used by subject matter experts to investigate, create, and iterate on best practices and deployment rules. Then, the team will proactively identify and alert when requested or provisioned infrastructure breaks those best practices and rules. This team must interact with many stakeholders from across the organization and iterate as frequently as possible. As a Systems Engineer, you will serve as the connective tissue between technical teams and mission stakeholders. You’ll bring expertise in networking, cybersecurity, and data analysis to translate mission intent into actionable technical requirements and shape how infrastructure data is collected, analyzed, and acted upon. Your insight will ensure our team delivers incremental value with each iteration, while avoiding wasted cycles and blind alleys. In this role, you’ll not only contextualize discrepancies between requested and realized infrastructure but also proactively identify risks, context gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates without a current clearance will not be considered.
  • Engage directly with stakeholders to refine goals and outcomes, and act as an internal stakeholder yourself to reduce miscommunication and accelerate delivery.
  • Translate customer mission needs into technical requirements that guide development priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret insights and alerts produced by the system, and recommend courses of action, remediation steps, and best-practice improvements.
  • Analyze infrastructure request vs. realization patterns to identify issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply expertise in networking and cybersecurity (offensive and defensive) to evaluate infrastructure usage and detect vulnerabilities.
  • Develop scripts, automations, and integrations that enhance team workflows and improve system reliability.
  • Advocate for user experience and operational utility, ensuring the team builds software that is intuitive, mission-aligned, and valuable in real-world use.
📋 Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Deep understanding of networking and internet protocols.
  • Experience with cybersecurity concepts, tools, and analysis methods.
  • Familiarity with graph and search technologies (Neo4j, Elastic, Splunk).
  • Strong scripting or development background (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in customer engagement.
  • Twelve (12) years with a Bachelor’s or four (4) additional years without the degree.
